Thursday, June 16

“2 Deeply Rooted 2B Muted” commissioned by Marquetta Atkins of Camp Destination Innovation to celebrate the power and depth of the voices of our young people. “Justice for Cedric” was created to honor the life of Cedric Lofton and demand justice for his untimely death.
“I Am Why” will also be exhibited, these are works created by a group of young women leaders from Progeny out of Wichita, who were asked to tell their stories and reimagine what justice looks like.
Don't forget to also make your way to the amazing Chainlink Gallery Place and see the replica amongst other powerful pieces.
JuneteenthICT wants to recognize and thank Kamela Eaton for her artistry and love of community. Thank you for this beautiful work!! Thank you to all those that were behind this project and the parallel to JuneteenthICT!!
